We are at Bradley International Airport waiting to board our Southwest Airlines flight for Orlando Florida. This is Steven’s first flight and he did great going through security.
”Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand – strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ‘WOO HOO – What a Ride!’” ”

Due to some special promotions Disney is having, we are extending our stay by two days and actually saving $$$ in the process. We are now arriving at The Animal Kingdom on November 17th and returning home to The Millrod Kingdom on December 3rd.
Fortunately, we have underground wires in our neighborhood, and power outages are a rare occurrence around here, so we are obviously hoping for the best.
UPDATE 1: Of course we woke up this morning with no power. The countdown begins.
UPDATE 2: Our awesome aquarium support expert, Geoff Sampson, from the most excellent Aquatic Art Technologies is coming to install a temporary power generator.
So, all posts on Tara & Michael’s Wacky World are now simulcast on Facebook! You don’t get all of the goodies like photos, videos, and free $$$ like you get from visiting us at www.millrod.com, but comments go to both Facebook and Tara & Michael’s Wacky World. Our website is better of course, but this is a nice compromise. For now.
In order to alleviate some concerns that his mother had, Steven had a medical exam yesterday and the doctor said that there should be no problems with him flying. Duh!
Steven is getting really excited about his first flight and we keep telling him that he is going to have the best two weeks of his life in November.
